Entrepreneurial Quote of the Week

"The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary."
                                                                                                          – Vidal Sassoon

Vidal Sassoon, 1928-2012, was the British hairdresser extradinaire credited with creating the geometric "wedge bob" haircut.  His styling expertise made the man just as famous as the styles he created.  Celebrities as well as other members high society sought after his talent for years and he was known as the craftsman who "changed the world with a pair of scissors.'"

Entrepreneurial Quote of the Week

Every week, Strata Communications & Media will feature a quote from a successful Entrepreneur.  It has been well documented that the entrepreneurial spirit is always at its highest during hard economic times.  Lay-offs, forced retirement and job scarcity take on the persona of  "Necessity" also known as the "Mother of Invention."  So for those of us who are traveling the road to self-sufficiency and entrepreneurial success, here are some pearls of wisdom.

The Goal of STRATA Communications & Media

STRATA Communications & Media's goal is to publish high quality literary works and to promote writing as a way of life and as a tool of entrepreneurship.

Welcome to STRATA Communications & Media (formerly Word4Word PR & Branding Services).

I write.

I have been writing creatively and professionally for over 20 years, both for personal projects and in my professional employment.  I have conducted numerous interviews with members of the fashion and design industries. My love for the creative comes through in the stories, essays and poetry that I write. Through the use of Press Releases and interviews I promote the creativity of others in my field. Authorship has become one of the fastest growing trends among today's entrepreneurs next to lifestyle coaching and PR Consultation.  I know what the power of words can do and I truly believe the old adage "the pen is mightier than the sword." I believe the pen is the sword used to initiate real change.

Strata Communications and Media is my outlet for publishing my work and for promoting through interviews and articles, the works of others like me. And I am genuinely interested in what you do because I do it myself.

I appreciate the power of the written word.  Both yours and mine.
